Is a PCOS programme right for you?

It suits you if

  • Your polyclinic or specialist doctor has diagnosed your PCOS (PMOS) and you are 18 or older
  • You want regular Indian meals for busy weeks, made with food from Singapore supermarkets, wet markets and Little India shops
  • You want food support for energy, cravings or weight, without strict bans
  • You take medicines or are under fertility care and want your meals to fit that plan

See your doctor first if

  • You have not been diagnosed yet: irregular periods, acne or extra hair growth need a doctor’s check first
  • Your periods have stopped or changed suddenly
  • You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy: your doctor’s plan comes first

DietXP helps with food. Diagnosis, tests and medicines stay with your doctor or polyclinic.

PCOS food support in Singapore

PCOS and PMOS care in Singapore

In Singapore, PCOS is usually managed by a polyclinic doctor, a gynaecologist or an endocrinologist. In May 2026 an international consensus renamed it polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), so you may see both names for a while.

Alongside your family doctor or polyclinic

In Singapore your family doctor or polyclinic looks after your care. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 40 and above can enrol in Healthier SG with one family clinic, which draws up a health plan with them. DietXP is a private online service from India and is not part of Healthier SG.

Indian food in Singapore

Tekka Centre and the shops around Little India stock everything from curry leaves to atta, and hawker favourites such as roti prata, thosai and nasi briyani are part of daily life. We plan around hawker meals, kopi and teh, and office lunches.

Practical details

  • Singapore is 2½ hours ahead of India, so sessions fit easily into your day.
  • Fees are in SGD and are the full amount you pay.
  • In an emergency call 995. For medical advice when it is not an emergency, call the NurseFirst helpline on 6262 6262.

Hawker meals and home cooking

We plan breakfasts, office lunches and hawker meals with Indian food you enjoy, focusing on regular meals, fibre and protein rather than strict bans.

Nutrition education and practical food support. Diagnosis, medicines and medical treatment stay with your treating team.

Getting ready

What to have ready for your first consultation

You do not need to send reports before booking. We tell you how to share them before your first consultation.

  • Polyclinic or hospital reports, including your HealthHub records
  • Recent reports, such as ultrasound, hormone, thyroid or blood sugar tests
  • Your period dates for the last few months
  • Your medicines and supplements
  • What you eat on a usual day, including work meals and snacks

PCOS support in Singapore: your questions answered

Is there one best diet for PCOS?

No single diet composition has been shown to be best for everyone with PCOS. A sustainable approach should reflect your preferences, health needs and circumstances.

How much do the PCOS programmes cost in Singapore?

Core (3 months) is SGD 460 and Extended (6 months) is SGD 874. These are the full prices, with nothing added when you pay.

What does each programme include?

Both start with a first consultation and a written food plan within 2 working days. Core adds 3 scheduled follow-ups and WhatsApp support during agreed hours. Extended adds 6 follow-ups, priority WhatsApp support, a nutrition progress assessment at 90 days and a full progress report at 180 days.

How do I pay?

After we confirm your booking in writing, we send the payment details on WhatsApp or by email. You pay the fee in SGD; payment goes to DietXP in India, so your bank may add a cross-border fee.

When will I get my written plan?

Within 2 working days of your first consultation. Your follow-ups, booked on Singapore time, then review how it is going and adjust the plan.

Which languages can I use?

English, Hindi or Kannada, with Maria. Tell us which you prefer when you message us.

What time are the sessions?

Singapore is 2½ hours ahead of India, so sessions fit easily into your day. We book a time that suits you.

Will this programme focus only on weight loss?

No. Your goals should be discussed with you. Health-supporting habits matter even without weight loss, and conversations about weight should be respectful and only part of a wider picture.

Can food support replace medicines or fertility care?

No. Decisions about medicines, menstrual symptoms and fertility treatment belong with your treating clinician. Nutrition support can complement, not replace, that care.

Will I need to avoid rice, dairy or gluten?

These foods are not automatically excluded because you have PCOS. We consider your preferences and any confirmed allergies, intolerances or other medical advice before discussing changes.

Is PCOS now called PMOS?

Yes. In May 2026 an international consensus published in The Lancet renamed polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), because the condition affects hormones and metabolism, not just the ovaries, and does not involve harmful cysts. Health services are switching over gradually, so you will see both names for a while. It does not change the food support we offer.

Can I still eat out at hawker centres?

Yes. We help you choose dishes and portions that fit your goals, so eating out stays part of your week.

Is this part of Healthier SG?

No. DietXP is a private online service from India. Your Healthier SG clinic or polyclinic stays in charge of your care, and you can use DietXP alongside it.

Can my family join?

Yes. The person who cooks or helps with meals is welcome on your calls, whether they live in Singapore or in India. If you are contacting us for someone else, please let them know. We ask for their agreement before we discuss their health.

What happens when my programme ends?

You can finish there or ask about continuing. We explain the options and the fee before you book anything new.

Your doctor stays in charge

Stay in touch with your doctor about symptoms, medicines and any fertility or pregnancy plans. This programme does not diagnose PCOS, promise to balance hormones or guarantee pregnancy.
